Andrew and Mariah VanTienderen Scholarship

Purpose:
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide scholarship awards to undergraduate students at the University of Central Florida.

Criteria:

  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need based upon guidelines set forth by the University of Central Florida.
  • Applicant is majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) or Business degrees.
  • Preference will be given to students from Orange and Seminole Counties.
  • This scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters provided that funds are available, and the recipient maintains award criteria. To be considered, the student must reapply.

Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over the student’s Cost of Attendance (COA) or Financial Need. COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Financial Need is the difference between the student’s COA and a student’s Student Aid Index (SAI). Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.

Renewable:
Yes. Applicant may receive the award in successive semesters until graduation as long as eligibility is maintained and an A2O application is completed each year of renewal eligibility.
