Carol J. Barr Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Carol J. Barr. Carol was the health informatics program director for the School of Global Health Management and Informatics at the University of Central Florida for more than twenty years. In her role, Carol mentored countless students and professionals who are now paying it forward and mentoring current students. Carol is very well respected in the Central Florida community. In 1995, Carol was recognized with the Excellence in Faculty Academic Advising award.

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship awards to students at the University of Central Florida in the College of Community Innovation.
This scholarship supports undergraduate students in the College of Community Innovation and Education.

Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:

• Must be enrolled as full-time or part-time undergraduate student, entering their senior year, in the Health Informatics and Information Management Program.

This Scholarship will be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of education.
