Margaret M. Samet Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

Margaret M. Samet Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Margaret M. Samet. am outstanding volunteer leader in service and education organizations.

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship awards to students at the University of Central Florida in the College of Community Innovation and Education.

This scholarship supports undergraduate students in the College of Community Innovation and Education.

Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student
  • Must be majoring in Criminal Justice or Legal Studies
  • Must be a sophomore, junior or senior
  • Must have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA
  • Must provide a brief essay describing professional goals and current involvement in extracurricular activities and community service, including volunteer work.

*Preference shall be given to applicants who demonstrate involvement in clubs, organizations, volunteer leadership positions and community service.

This scholarship, to the extent funds are available, will be used to pay for tuition, fees, or any other items included in the cost of education.
