UCF Parents and Families Care Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide awards to University students enrolled in the University of Central Florida with preference given to students who identify as homeless, at risk for homelessness, came through the foster care system, First Generation or students demonstrating financial need.
Criteria:

• Applicant must be enrolled at the university as a full-time undergraduate student.
• Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Applicants will be considered based on financial need.
• Preference will be given to students who identify as at-risk for homelessness or came through the foster care system.
• Preference will be given to First-Generation students.
• The applicant will be required to submit a 500-word essay that demonstrates how the award will help them achieve their academic and career goals
  The Scholarship will be awarded annually and paid on a semester basis.
  This scholarship will be consistent with the guidelines established by the University Office of Student Financial Assistance
