Hundred Club of Broward County Endowed Scholarship
The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships for dependents of Broward County deceased, disabled or living law enforcement officers, firefighters, or peace officers and for dependents of Broward County veterans killed in the line of duty.
Criteria
- Applicant must have a minimum of 2.0 overall grade point average.
- Applicant must be degree-seeking and enrolled at least half time (6 credit hours).
- Applicant must meet one of the following:
- Dependents of Deceased or Disabled Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, or Peace Officers:
- The student must be a dependent, spouse, or child of a deceased or disabled Broward County law enforcement officer, firefighter, or peace officer.
- Dependents of Living Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, or Peace Officers:
- Student must be a dependent, spouse, or child of a living Broward County law enforcement officer, firefighter, or peace officer.
- Dependents of Veterans Killed in the Line of Duty:
- The student must be a dependent, spouse, or child of a U.S. Veteran from Broward County Killed in the line of duty
- Dependents of Deceased or Disabled Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, or Peace Officers:
- The criteria for awarding the Scholarship will be consistent with the guidelines established by the University Office of Student Financial Assistance.
