Ferrante Family LGBTQ Scholarship

Michael ’15MS and Pamela ’85, ’95MA, ’00Ed.S Ferrante established the Ferrante Family LGBTQ Scholarship in recognition of UCF’s commitment to the LGBTQ student community. The scholarship, which is awarded annually, supports students who identify as LGBTQ and exhibit academic excellence through their coursework and academic endeavors. The scholarship awards $1,000 annually. The scholarship recipient will receive $500 in the fall and spring semesters.

The scholarship recipient will be selected based on the following established criteria:

  • Applicant must be enrolled at UCF as a part-time or full-time undergraduate student in any major.
  • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who identify as LGBTQ and exhibit academic achievement.
  • The criteria for awarding the scholarship will be consistent with the guidelines established by the UCF Office of Student Financial Assistance.
