Polyshot Scholarship Program
Criteria from external site:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
- Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited U.S. university, college, or school
- Must be a student/enrollee of Plastics Engineering Technology or other related studies.
- The applicant must write a 300-word essay on one of the following topics:
- What are the environmental impacts of plastic manufacturing and molding processes, including pollution, waste management challenges, and potential solutions?
- What are the effective strategies and initiatives to reduce plastic waste in the manufacturing sector, such as recycling, circular economy models, and alternative materials?
- How effectively are the regulatory frameworks and policies governing plastic manufacturing and molding industries addressing environmental concerns? What are potential areas for improvement?
- What does the future hold for plastic manufacturing and molding? What are the emerging trends, technological advancements, sustainable practices, and potential shifts in consumer preferences?
