Inspiring Hope for Aphasia Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded this upcoming Fall semester

Scholarship will be selected based on the following established criteria:
• Applicant must be enrolled at the University as a full-time graduate student in the College of Health and Public Affairs studying in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Applicant must have an overall grade point average of 3.5.
• Applicants must have an interest in specializing in the treatment of aphasia.
• The criteria for awarding the Scholarship will be consistent with the guidelines established by the University Office of Student Financial Assistance.
• Preference will be given to students who demonstrate potential for conducting research in aphasia.
All awards will be processed through the University Office of Student Financial Assistance. This scholarship, to the extent funds are available, will be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of education.

In order to apply:
- Applicant must provide a brief essay (up to two pages, double-spaced, 12-point font) that includes the reasons for applying for the scholarship, and the personal and professional goals the student hopes to achieve in the next 5 years.
- Applicant must have an interest in specializing in the treatment of aphasia.
- Applicant must have an overall grade point average of 3.5.
- Applicant must provide a resume.
