Group 1

Be single (separated or divorced), head of a household and have total responsibility for the care of one or more children.

Demonstrate exceptional financial need ($5,000 or more) as determined by the requirements set forth in the FAFSA.

Be enrolled as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University with a course load of at least nine (9) semester hours each semester, or a graduate student with at least six (6) semester hours.

*Group 2 *

Each recipient must: Be working part-time (at least 10 hours per week) during the Fall and Spring semesters to help defray their expenses.

Demonstrate exceptional financial need ($5,000 or more) as determined by the requirements set forth in the FAFSA.

Be enrolled as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University with a course load of at least nine (9) semester hours each semester, or a graduate student with at least six (6) semester hours.

Preference if given to Group 1

These scholarships may be awarded to the same students on a continuing basis provided the undergraduate recipient maintain a 2.0 GPA and the graduate recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA. Continuing recipients are to receive preference over new applicants.
