"Burr & Forman Scholar Development Fund"
The Burr & Forman Scholar Development fund was established in the spring of 2015 by Burr & Forman LLP. The legal professionals of Burr & Forman Orlando are led by proud UCF alumni who are committed to elevating enrichment opportunities for high achieving students. The Burr & Forman Scholar Development fund provides up to $2,500 per student for academic enrichment over the semester.
The amount will vary based on the proposed experience being funded and the amount of awards being dispersed. Listed below are a few examples of the types of experiences that may be covered under this fund:
• Prestigious unpaid internships (White House internship with the Chief of Staff office, State Department internship in Portugal)
• Conference presentation fees and travel grants
• Research conducted over the course of a semester with supervision from a faculty mentor (mentorship can be done via email, Skype, phone, or in person)
• Language immersion
• Unique International experiences not offered through traditional coursework
In order to be eligible students must:
•Be full-time and in good standing with the Burnett Honors College with at least a 3.5 GPA •Have two years remaining at UCF as an undergraduate after the completion of the grant
•Students of all majors are welcome to apply
