Open Door Education Foundation Scholarship
Applicant must be a full time student or enrolled in a minimum course load of 6 credit hours per semester if working a full-time job. The Scholarship Committee will require the applicant to verify this on the application or other documentation. Applicant must attend college in the College of Engineering and Computer Science majoring in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology
Applicant must hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicant must be either a junior or senior. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Applicant must intend to live and work locally upon graduation. The Scholarship Committee will require the applicant to verify this on the application or other documentation provided. Applicant must offer two letters of recommendation from professors or employers. Applicant must not be related to any employees or contractors working for a National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses (NACCB) member company or The Open Door Education Foundation. The Open Door Education Foundation shall provide a list of these companies to be submitted to the student with the application. The Scholarship Committee will require the applicant to verify on the application that they are not related to anyone employed at the companies. Recipients must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Student Aid.
