Amber Mariano Davis Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide scholarship awards to full-time undergraduate students at the University of Central Florida.

Criteria:

  • Applicant(s) must be a full-time undergraduate student.
  • Applicant(s) must self-identify as a previous participant of a Florida Department of Juvenile Justice Prevention or Diversion Programs.
  • Preference will be given to applicant(s) who write a brief essay describing their hardship and how the prevention or diversion program impact their life.
  • Preference will be given to applicant(s) from Pasco County, Florida.

Definitions:
The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Office of Prevention Services offers voluntary youth crime prevention programs throughout the state of Florida. A list of these programs can be found at: https://www.djj.state.fl.us/programs-facilities/prevention-programs.

Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over the student’s Cost of Attendance (COA). COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.
