R. David and Dana Patton Endowed Scholarship
Purpose:
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide awards to students at the University.
Criteria:
- Scholarship is open to all students at the University.
- Preference will be given to incoming freshmen who have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.75 or higher. Second preference will be given to applicant(s) with a cumulative higher education grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
- The Scholarship is renewable up to a maximum of eight (8) semesters. Student must meet University requirements for renewal.
- In case of a tie, preference will be given to applicant(s) who demonstrate financial need based upon guidelines set forth in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over a student’s Cost of Attendance (COA). COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.
Renewable:
Yes. Applicant may receive the award in successive semesters until graduation as long as eligibility is maintained and an A2O application is completed each year of renewal eligibility.
