Robert D. Merendino Memorial Wine Scholarship Fund

Established by the late Robert D. Merendino, a Jacksonville based fine wine merchant, this scholarship supports students who are enrolled in the Beverage Management Certificate Program and demonstrates sustained excellence in educational performance and the study of wine.

This scholarship supports undergraduate students in the Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:

  • Must have successfully completed one of the wine courses offered through the Beverage Management Certificate program.
  • Must provide a description as to why they wish to complete the Beverage Management Certificate program, or any other degree or certificate program at the University that requires the study of fine wine.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The scholarship may be used to cover tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of education published annually by the University.
