BE2000 Leadership Endowed Scholarship

Purpose:
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide awards to undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Business Administration.

Criteria:

  • Undergraduate Criteria:
    • Applicant(s) must be enrolled in the College of Business Administration or be a Florida Community College transfer student with a junior class standing.
    • Applicant(s) must be a full-time student.
    • Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Financial need to be considered.
    • Applicant(s) must demonstrate involvement in leadership and community service.
    • Applicant(s) must submit a personal essay and two letters of recommendation.
  • Graduate Criteria:
    • Applicant(s) must be a first year graduate student in the College of Business Administration.
    • Applicant(s) must be a full-time student.
    • Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA.
    • Financial need to be considered.
    • Applicant(s) must demonstrate involvement in leadership and community service.
    • Applicant(s) must submit a personal essay and two letters of recommendation.

Definitions:
Undergraduate applicants must have completed pre-major requirements and have been admitted into the College of Business Administration to be considered.

Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over the student’s Cost of Attendance (COA) or Financial Need. COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Financial Need is the difference between the student’s COA and a student’s Student Aid Index (SAI). Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.

Renewable:
Yes. This Scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters until graduation, provided funds are available, the recipient(s) maintain the criteria outlined, and recipient submits an A2O application each year of eligibility.
