Progress Energy Endowed Scholarship

Established to provide scholarships for junior and senior students in the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
Criteria established for the selection of recipients include:

• Junior or senior level students
• Full-time enrollment
• Majoring in electrical, mechanical, materials or civil engineering
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Submit an essay that articulates leadership and community service experience

This scholarship will pay for tuition, books, and fees, and any other items included in the cost of education.
The scholarship will be awarded annually and paid on a semester basis.
