David Cassidy Memorial Athletic Training Scholarship

David Cassidy was one of the co-founders of the Athletic Training Program. He remained engaged with AT program students and faculty as a mentor and through his professional service in the Central Florida area. David was known for his big personality and his love for the profession of athletic training. This scholarship was established after his passing in 2019 as a way to honor his legacy.

Recipient Criteria

In order to apply:

• Applicant(s) must be enrolled in the Master of Athletic Training program.
• Applicant(s) must have a minimum overall 3.4 GPA
• Applicant(s) must provide a brief essay (1-2 pages, double spaced, 12-point font) that demonstrates a commitment to the athletic training profession through service and volunteerism.
