Angel's Gift Scholarship

Recipient Criteria

In order to apply:

  • Applicant must provide a resume that includes their employment history, and involvement in volunteer/extracurricular activities.
  • Applicant must provide a brief personal statement (500 words or less) outlining how they will make a difference in the lives of patients or to the standard of patient care. Applicants are encouraged to describe any personal experiences relating to the field of speech-language pathology which influenced their career goals. All essays will be reviewed by the college scholarship committees. In addition, recipients’ essays might be shared with donors.
  • Applicant are encouraged to provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders, although not required.

At the time the scholarship is disbursed, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
1. Applicant must be enrolled at the University as a graduate student in the College and majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
2. The applicant must demonstrate financial need based upon guidelines set forth in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)."
