Sloan Endowment for Veterans

Purpose:
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide award to University students enrolled in the College of Business Administration majoring in business with preference given to those majoring in finance.

Criteria:

  • Applicant must be enrolled at the University as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student in the College of Business Administration.
  • Applicant is majoring in business with preference given to those majoring in finance.
  • Applicant must be a U.S. military veteran.
  • Applicant must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Applicant may submit an essay on what will completing a degree at UCF means to their future, and how will they use their service experience as a veteran to help achieve success both professionally and personally.

Definitions:
Applicant(s) must have completed pre-major requirements and have been admitted into a College of Business Administration program to be considered.

Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over a student’s Cost of Attendance (COA). COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.
