Verdelski Miller Annual Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:

• Scholarship intended to help students with high character, above-average intellect as demonstrated by academic achievement and a commitment to community service.
• Must be enrolled in or committed to attend a college, university, or law school during the current calendar year in which they applied.
• Must be U.S. citizens at time of application.
• Should not be immediate family members of employees of Verdelski Miller Law.
• Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Award is for students with a diverse background of race, ethnicity, or faith and who are in fields in which they have been traditionally underrepresented: science, math, engineering, technology, business, and law.
• Applicants will need to submit an official transcript and one letter of recommendation from an employer or professor/teacher.

Essay Requirement:

A 750-word maximum essay addressing the topic: If you had the authority to change your community in a positive way, what specific changes would you make?
