Mike and Christine Hinn Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship supports first-generation UCF students with financial need. Preference will be given to applicants who share, in essay form, the challenges immigrant families face in the pursuit of higher education.
Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:
- Must be a first-generation college student
- Must demonstrate financial need based upon guidelines set forth in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Preference will be given to applicants providing a brief essay, not to exceed one page, on the challenges immigrant families face in the pursuit of higher education
This scholarship may be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of attendance published annually by the University.
