The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship
Criteria for Student Eligibility
To be considered for The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a current or aspiring law student
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
- Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university within the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Each applicant must submit the required materials in order to have their application reviewed by our scholarship team.
- All students are asked to provide proof of enrollment and their contact information.
Additionally, applications must include a submission in the format of a video (approximately 5 minutes or less) or an essay (1000 words or less) discussing the following questions:
- What are the most important civil rights issues that affect millennial workers?
- Do millennials need to be better informed about how they can protect their rights in the workplace?
- How can workers make sure they understand their rights and the ways they can protect themselves?
