How to Apply for the 2024 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship

• To apply for the Lem Garcia Law $1,000 Scholarship, please write an essay of 800 words or less, detailing your motivation for pursuing a legal career and your vision for using your degree to advocate for justice.
• Applicants are encouraged to share any personal experiences in advocacy, whether for themselves or others, and how these moments shaped their commitment to the legal profession.

Who is Eligible for the 2024 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship?

Anyone who is accepted into any law school in the United States for the 2024-2025 academic year, or current law school students attending any law school in the United States during the 2023-2024 academic year and continuing their studies in 2024-2025.

Judging Criteria

• A panel of judges, including senior management from Lem Garcia Law, will thoroughly evaluate all submissions and select the winner.
• The announcement is set for January 15, 2025.
• The chosen recipient will be required to provide proof of enrollment in law school, solidifying their path to becoming a future legal star.

Award Disbursement

• We will evaluate all submissions after the deadline passes and inform the winning contestant.
• The winner’s award check will be mailed to their law school’s financial aid department directly.
