Jennifer Adicks Harnage Memorial Scholarship for Communications Sciences and Disorders
This scholarship will be awarded this upcoming Fall semester.
Established to honor the memory of Jennifer Adicks Harnage, a UCF alumni whose thirty-plus year career embodied all the qualities of an ideal speech pathologist, this scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.4 and have financial need. Preference will be given to students who are majoring in communication sciences and disorders.
Criteria to receive this scholarship includes:
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.4.
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need as guidelines outline in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Applicants must provide a brief essay that answers the following in less than 500 words:
a. What sparked your interest in choosing to pursue a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders?
b. How do you hope to use this degree, and what is your long-term goal in your chosen field of study?
c. Have you done anything in the past, or present to contribute to the financial cost of your education?
