Jallad Family Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established by sisters Deborah Snow and Sharon Jallad, owners of Accredited Surety & Casualty located in Orlando. Deborah Snow is the president and chair of the board, while Sharon Jallad is the chief operating officer and corporate secretary. Under the family’s leadership, the company has become one of the nation’s most respected property and casualty insurance companies underwriting bail. It is represented by more than 1,600 bail agents nationwide. Established in 2006, this scholarship is open to students majoring in either legal studies or criminal justice.
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship awards to students at the University of Central Florida in the College of Community Innovation.
This scholarship supports undergraduate students in the College of Community Innovation and Education.
Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time, undergraduate or graduate student majoring in criminal justice or legal studies
- Must have an overall 3.0 GPA
- Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
This scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters until graduation provided that funds are available and the recipient maintains the award criteria
The scholarship may be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of attendance published annually by the University.
