The Owen Family Scholarship Fund
Purpose:
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide awards to University students enrolled in the College of Business Administration and those participating in the Professional Sales Program.
Criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time student, in the College of Business Administration majoring in finance, management, real estate, marketing or sales
- OR a student enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in another college and enrolled in the College’s Professional Sales Program.
- Preference given to applicants that are first-generation college students studying in the College of Business.
Definitions:
Students who are enrolled in another college and enrolled in the Professional Sales Program includes the Professional Selling minor (https://www.ucf.edu/degree/professional-selling-minor-minor/).
Applicant(s) not enrolled in the Professional Selling minor must have completed pre-major requirements and have been admitted into their major program in the College of Business Administration.
Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over the student’s Cost of Attendance (COA) or Financial Need. COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Financial Need is the difference between the student’s COA and a student’s Student Aid Index (SAI). Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.
