Anna Fertic Endowed Scholarship

Criteria:

• Applicant must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the University.
• Applicant must maintain a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average.
• Applicant must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
• Applicant’s immediate family must have resided in Central Florida which includes: Brevard, Citrus, Flagler, Lake, Levy, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia Counties for a minimum of 35 years.
• This scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters until graduation provided that funds are available, and the recipient maintains award criteria.

Definitions:
Applicant(s) must provide a notarized statement that confirms that immediate family has lived in a particular county for at least 35 years to be considered. An template is provided below.

Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over the student’s Cost of Attendance (COA) or Financial Need. COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Financial Need is the difference between the student’s COA and a student’s Student Aid Index (SAI). Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.

Renewable:
Yes. Applicant may receive the award in successive semesters until graduation as long as eligibility is maintained and an A2O application is completed each year of renewal eligibility.
