Patrick McMahan Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Humanities majoring in Musical Theatre.
Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:
- Must be enrolled full-time in the College of Arts and Humanities
- Must have declared a major in the BFA or MFA Musical Theatre track
- Must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be recommended by a theatre faculty member attesting to the applicant’s commitment to the theatre as demonstrated by their participation in theatrical production at UCF and other theatre programs
- Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance (FAFSA)
- Must submit an essay sharing about involvement in community and school service and expressing how scholarship funding will impact their education
- Must upload a theatre resume, in PDF format, documenting involvement with and contributions to the UCF Theatre.
- Consideration will be given to applicants overall GPA in UCF Theatre courses
The scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters until graduation, providing the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA
This scholarship will be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of education.
Awards will be distributed annually and paid on a semester basis.
