Community Foundation for Brevard

Criteria

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Applicant must indicate Brevard County as the primary residence.
  • Applicant must have completed at least ONE SEMESTER of post-secondary education.
  • Applicant must be committed to pursuing a college degree from an accredited college,
  • university or vocational school as defined in the scholarship description.
  • Applicant should have a demonstrated financial need. Applications must be completed by the student only.
  • Applicant must submit all required application documents by the deadline.
    Use of Funds
  • Scholarship awards may be used towards any need listed under the school’s total cost of attendance. The student is responsible for all other charges
  • Recipients have two options for how to use the total amount of the scholarship. It may be used for the cost of attendance of one semester or divided across two semesters
  • Please be aware, if the recipient chooses to divide the scholarship amount over two semesters, they must maintain a 3.0 GPA. If GPA dips under 3.0 during the first semester that funds are used, the recipient will not be eligible to use the remainder of the award for their second semeste

  • 2025-26 FAFSA Student Aid Report (page one showing your Student Aid Index (SAI) and student name)
  • One (1) Letter of Recommendation
    Letter must be from the current academic year written by professional or academic contact (please do not use family members or friends). The best letters provide details unique to
    applicant and speak to the following:
  • Applicant’s work ethic and dedication
  • Applicant’s potential in chosen career field Applicant’s educational and/or career goals
