CHPS Study Abroad Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to support students attending one of the study abroad programs managed by the College of Health Professions and Sciences.

Recipients will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Applicant must be accepted and committed to one of the following study abroad programs by the scholarship’s application deadline:
  • Clinical Shadowing Abroad Program
  • Study Abroad in Barcelona, Spain enrolled in one of the following courses:
    • HSC2524: Introduction to Human Diseases
    • PEM4143: Current Issues & Trends in Kinesiology
    • HSC3147: Introduction to Pharmacology
  • Study Abroad in Costa Rica enrolled in one of the following courses:
    • PEM 2104: Personal Fitness & Wellness
    • HUN2201: Fundamentals of Human Nutrition
• Applicant must provide a brief essay (250 words maximum) explaining how this study abroad program will help you meet your academic and/or career goals.
• Preference is given to students with financial need.
