The Central Florida ASHRAE Chapter: R. Douglas Stone, P.E. Scholarship

This scholarship supports undergraduate students in the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:

• Must be enrolled in the college as a full-time or part-time undergraduate junior or senior.
• Must be majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher
• Must demonstrate involvement in leadership, community, or military service.
• Must submit one recommendation letter (preferable from an ASHRAE member).
• Must submit an essay no more than 500 words. Suggested Topics include:
o Past work experience in the HVAC industry
o Interest in the HVAC industry
o Interest in sustainability in the building industry
o Experience with ASHRAE
