Natural Disaster Relief Scholarship
Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
- They and/or their immediate family were affected by a natural disaster within the United States in the last 10 years.
- They are an undergraduate, graduate, or law student attending school at an accredited school within the United States in the current or upcoming semester.
- They are at least 17 years of age.
- They are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
Video:
Each applicant must submit a video of 3 to 5 minutes in length answering the following prompt:
Discuss how you and your family were affected by a specific natural disaster in your area. Using video or pictures, elaborate on how the natural disaster impacted your life as a whole, what effects you still see today, and how this scholarship would help you.
Proof of Enrollment
To demonstrate eligibility, an applicant must provide proof of enrollment or acceptance at an accredited school within the United States, which may include:
- Letter of enrollment,
- An acceptance letter,
- Class schedule, or
- An unofficial transcript.
