The Law Office of Ahmad R. Crews Scholarship
Eligibility:
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States.
- Submit proof of acceptance into an accredited undergraduate program in pre-law or a related field, or
- Evidence of acceptance and enrollment in an accredited law school for the Fall of the scholarship year.
- Demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the undergraduate level.
Requirements:
The following are required before the application will be considered:
- An up-to-date and completed resume.
- A 500 to 1,000-word essay, typed and single-spaced in 12-point font, on a topic related to the student’s intended practice of law.
- Complete and up-to-date certified school transcripts from high school (for incoming college freshmen) or college transcripts (for all others).
- An acceptance letter from a U.S.-accredited college or law school.
- Proof of legal residency in the U.S. (e.g., birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card).
Essay:
- This scholarship application requires that students write an essay on a topic related to an area of law that interests them.
- Essays should be between one and three pages in length.
