Sharma Law Associates, LLC Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Provide proof of acceptance into an accredited undergraduate program in pre-law or a related field, or proof of acceptance and enrollment in an accredited U.S. law school for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the undergraduate level.
Application Requirements
- All applications must be submitted by August 1, 2025, and must include the following documents:
- A current and complete resume.
- A 500–1,000-word essay, typed and single-spaced in 12-point font, discussing a topic related to your intended area of legal practice.
Official transcripts:
- High school transcripts for incoming college freshmen.
- College transcripts for all other applicants.
- An official acceptance letter from an accredited U.S. college or law school.
- Proof of legal residency in the U.S. (e.g., birth certificate, passport, or permanent resident card).
Award Details
- The scholarship award will be issued as a $1,000 check payable directly to the recipient.
- Funds may be used for tuition, books, supplies, and other education-related living expenses.
- Recipients must comply with federal and state tax laws and may be required to submit documentation of how the funds were used.
- Scholarship winners will be notified by email and/or phone in August 2025, with the award being disbursed in September 2025.
- Selected recipients must consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes and provide a short video acceptance message for marketing.

- All application materials must be submitted via email in PDF format by August 1, 2025.
- Important: Direct contact with the law firm or its representatives regarding the scholarship is not permitted. Only electronically submitted applications with all required attachments will be reviewed.
