UNCEF/ Publix Cares Scholarship

Publix Cares Scholarship was established by Publix Super Markets, Inc., a Florida corporation, in partnership with UNCF to provide scholarships to eligible students attending at one of the following selected institutions:

Benedict College, Bethune-Cookman University, Clark Atlanta University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Morehouse College, Savanah State University, Spelman College, Tennessee State University, University of Central Florida, and Virginia State University.

In addition, applicants for the Publix Cares Scholarship Program must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
• Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form
• Have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by their college or university
• Be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at one of the institutions listed above beginning fall 2025.
• Preference given to college juniors or seniors in the Fall 2025

APPLICATION REQUIREMENT

• Students shall submit an online application for the Program,
• Write a maximum of 3000 characters essay answering the question, “How have your personal or academic experiences, including those from the perspective of your background, influenced your career goals?”
• Upload online current official/unofficial transcript.
