Roberts PC Legal Legacy Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • You must be a first-generation student studying law or pre-law at an accredited school. (Please note that a first-generation student is the first in their family to pursue an undergraduate degree. Being the first to attend law school does not qualify if family members have already earned college degrees.)
  • You must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a pre-law undergraduate program or accredited law school within the United States for the Fall 2025 semester.
  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • You must be a citizen of the United States.

Application Requirements:

  • Applicants are required to answer the following prompt in a short essay response of no more than 500 words: “As a law or pre-law student, what do you want to accomplish with your degree? How will you contribute to making our society better?”
    • Your response should be uploaded in .docx or PDF format.
  • In addition, we ask that you provide proof of your enrollment at your university or law school – such as a class schedule, unofficial transcript, or acceptance letter.

Evaluation Criteria:
Our scholarship review team will evaluate your essay response based on the criteria listed below:

  • The clearness of your goals after attaining your degree.
  • The authenticity of the contributions you plan to make with your degree.
  • The coherent focus and organization of your essay.
We will make a final decision and contact the winner of the scholarship approximately one month after the deadline.
