Eligible applicants must:

• Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident who is authorized to work in the country
• Be a North Carolina resident or be admitted to a school in North Carolina
• Prospective scholarship recipients must submit the following entry requirements no later than May 5th, 2026:

One-to-two-page essay
describing the student’s reason for pursuing college, their current career plans, and the impact that their parent’s injury had on their life.
Proof of acceptance or attendance from a college
