Dr. Alla Kourova Russian Studies Fund

This scholarship supports students in the College of Arts and Humanities.
Recipients will be selected based on the following established criteria:

• Must be enrolled in the Russian as a Critical Language Certificate program at the University of Central Florida (UCF).
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in Russian language courses.
• Must be taking Intermediate or Advanced Russian courses.
• Must have been accepted into a summer study abroad program for Russian language immersion.
• Must be an active participant in the Russian American Student Association (RASA) at UCF.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to cultural exchange and language practice through participation in RASA events, meetings, or leadership roles.
• Must submit a one-page essay (250-200 words) explaining how this scholarship will support their Russian language studies and cultural understanding.
• Must submit a letter of confirmation from the Russian professor.
