James Carlton Dockeray Undergraduate Finance Scholarship

Applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship based on their General Application, their academic record, and the criteria listed below. No additional application or documentation is required to be considered.

Criteria:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student majoring in finance.
  • Applicant(s) will be considered based on financial need (as determined by the FAFSA) and previous academic record.
  • Applicant(s) will also be considered based on their leadership qualities and their commitment to the area of study, as demonstrated by a resume.

Definitions:
Applicant(s) must have completed all pre-major requirements for the Finance major and have been admitted into the College of Business Administration to be considered.

Limitations:
This Scholarship can pay over a student’s Cost of Attendance (COA). COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Additional information about COA can be found at: https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.

Renewable:
Yes. Applicant may receive the award for no more than a total of three years, as long as funding is available, eligibility is maintained, and an A2O application is completed each year of renewal eligibility.
