The Owen Family Scholarship Fund

Applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship based on their General Application, their academic record, and the criteria listed below. No additional application or documentation is required to be considered.

Purpose:
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide awards to University students enrolled in the College of Business Administration and those participating in the Professional Sales Program.

Criteria:

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time student, in the College of Business Administration majoring in finance, management, real estate, marketing or sales
  • OR a student enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in another college and enrolled in the College’s Professional Sales Program.
  • Preference given to applicants that are first-generation college students studying in the College of Business.

Definitions:
Students who are enrolled in another college and enrolled in the Professional Sales Program includes the Professional Selling minor (https://www.ucf.edu/degree/professional-selling-minor-minor/).

Applicant(s) not enrolled in the Professional Selling minor must have completed pre-major requirements and have been admitted into their major program in the College of Business Administration.

Limitations:
This Scholarship cannot pay over the student’s Cost of Attendance (COA) or Financial Need. COA is the estimated amount it will cost a student to attend the university. Financial Need is the difference between the student’s COA and a student’s Student Aid Index (SAI). Additional information about COA can be found at https://www.ucf.edu/financial-aid/cost/.
