The Presidio Future Built Scholarship

The Presidio Future Built Scholarship Program will be awarding scholarships of $10,000 to up to 19 students majoring in Technology, ora Technology related field, and planning to attend college for the entire 2026-2027 academic year at an eligible college/university.
Examples of Technology related fields include: Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science

APPLICANTS MUST:
¨ Be a current college undergraduate majoring in Technology, or a Technology related field atone of the following four-year colleges or universities:
o California Baptist University
o Central Connecticut State University
o Eastern Carolina University
o Florida A&M University
o Florida Atlantic University
o George Mason University
o Georgia Technical Institute
o Miami Dade College
o Oklahoma State University
o Purdue University
o St. Johns University
o University of Arkansas
o University of California: San Diego
o University of Central Florida
o University of Virginia
o Coppin State University

¨ Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at one of the eligible colleges or universities listed above for the entire upcoming academic year

¨ Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

¨ Have previously volunteered in their community

Selection of Recipients
Scholarship finalists are selected on the basis of:

Academic record
Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities (including volunteer experience)
Work experience
Statement of goals and aspirations
Unusual personal or family circumstances
An online recommendation from a professor or current or previous work or volunteer supervisor
Financial need will be highly considered. Recipients must demonstrate need.

Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. Two (2) finalists will be selected per eligible college or university, with the exception of the University of Arkansas, from which eight (8) finalists will be selected. A selection committee, made up of executives from Presidio and each college/university will select the award recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $10,000 award. Up to nineteen (19) awards will be granted. One (1) recipient will be selected per eligible college or university, with the exception of the University of Arkansas, from which four (4) recipients will be selected.

Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification
All applicants will be notified in April.

Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.

Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Presidio. Payment will be made in July.

Requirements
As part of your application, you must upload the following:

A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
Student name
School name
Grades
Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
A copy of the first two pages of the most recently filed IRS Form 1040 which was used to complete the Financial Information section. Block out all social security numbers. Submit a note of explanation if an IRS Form 1040 was not filed.
Also, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than February 5, 2026 3:00 PM CT.
