Eligible Fields of Study

• Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a natural or marine science field.
  • Examples include Botany, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Ecology, Forestry and Environmental Science

Applicant Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be a U.S. citizen and a Florida resident for at least two years before the academic year of application.
• Be currently enrolled at an accredited Florida college or university
• Sophomores and Juniors must have completed at least 12 credit hours
• Seniors and Graduate students must have been accepted into an accredited graduate program
• Have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Be available for an interview, if requested.
• Submit:
  • Two recommendation letters from faculty in the field of study
  • Resume (including activities, honors, leadership, work, community service)
  • Personal statement (interest in natural sciences and future goals)
  • Official transcript (need not be stamped)
