UCF Black Faculty & Staff Association: Presidents' Legacy Scholarship

Information About this Scholarship

• A $500 scholarship sponsored by the Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) will be awarded to one recipient.
• Scholarship recipients will be selected by the BFSA Scholarship Committee.
• The recipient must attend the Black Faculty and Staff Association Virtual Mentoring Celebration on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 8 a.m. in the Pegasus Ballroom, Student Union.

Eligibility Information:

• Student must be currently enrolled full-time at the University of Central Florida and have at least ONE semester remaining before graduation.
• The student must have a minimum UCF cumulative GPA of a 3.0.

Instructions:

• Complete the scholarship application form via Qualtrics link.
• Attach your personal statement (maximum 2-page essay explaining why you should be selected for this award).
• Unofficial UCF College Transcript
• One letter of professional recommendation (professor, advisor, mentor, or supervisor)
