- This Scholarship is open to both graduate/law students and undergraduate students seeking to go to law school in the future. All applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. undergraduate or graduate-level program.

ESSAY TOPIC
The statute of limitations for personal injury cases exists to protect defendants from potentially frivolous lawsuits more than 2 years after the date of accident. In your opinion, what role should the statute of limitations serve? For example, should it be removed for cases involving bodily harm, or is its existence necessary to protect defendants and encourage timely action by plaintiffs?
