UCF Collegiate Recovery Community Book Scholarship

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be in active recovery for at least 3 months
  • Must be a degree-seeking student at UCF
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Must reflect on personal recovery story through short response to the following prompts:
    • Recovery Journey How long have you identified as being in recovery from an addiction?
    • Commitment to Recovery What does recovery mean to you? Please explain how it plays a part in all areas of your life.
    • Connected in Community What steps are you currently taking to help you THRIVE in your recovery, if any? (e.g. 12-steps, treatment center, religious fellowship, etc.)
    • Earn your degree, THRIVE in recovery at UCF Please explain the role recovery plays in your academic goals. How would this scholarship help you achieve these goals?
