Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship
The Devadoss Law Firm is offering a $1,000 scholarship to current or aspiring law students who value the importance of civil rights in the workforce. This scholarship aims to make legal education more accessible and encourage future lawyers to explore civil rights issues in today’s workplace.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a current or aspiring law student
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university (undergraduate or graduate level)
- Must be at least 17 years old
Application Instructions
Each applicant must submit the required materials in order to have their application reviewed by our scholarship team. All students are asked to provide proof of enrollment and their contact information.
Additionally, applications must include a submission in the format of a video (approximately 5 minutes or less) or an essay (1000 words or less) discussing the following questions:
- What are the most important civil rights issues that affect millennial workers?
- Do millennials need to be better informed about how they can protect their rights in the workplace?
- How can workers make sure they understand their rights and the ways they can protect themselves?
