Women of Water Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
- Residency/Status: Qualified applicants must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or international student enrolled at a Florida institution.
- Enrollment: Qualified applicants must maintain full-time enrollment at an accredited Florida college, university, or technical program.
- Academic Standing: Qualified applicants must have completed at least two years of a Bachelor’s degree during the semester of application OR be at least one year into an accredited technical program.
- Minimum GPA: Qualified applicants must provide proof of GPA meeting 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Cumulative, as shown on unofficial transcript.
- Eligible Majors & Programs: Water resources, wastewater, civil engineering, environmental engineering, environmental science, hydrology, earth/atmospheric science, or related infrastructure fields all qualify.
- Recommendation: Qualified applicants must have one recommendation letter submitted directly to the committee. Letters may be sent to Scholarship@SediVision.com. Letters may be from an academic (professor/advisor), professional (employer, supervisor), or community (mentor, colleague) source.
- Additional Awardee Obligations: Qualified applicants must agree to limited publicity participation if selected for a scholarship, such as a photo and personal story.
