Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Banyan Treatment Centers Scholarship for Working Students, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in a degree program in nursing, social work, psychology, healthcare administration, or any related field.
  • Be a working student, meaning you are currently employed while pursuing your degree.
  • Have a strong commitment to a career in healthcare or wellness.
  • Finances must be used toward school.

How to Apply

  • Please answer the following in an essay format:
    • Resilience & Personal Growth
      Describe a challenge or setback that has shaped who you are today. What did you learn from the experience, and how has it influenced your future goals?
    • Compassion & Service
      What does compassionate care mean to you, and how do you hope to demonstrate it throughout your education and career?
    • Mental Health Advocacy
      What is one misconception about mental health or addiction that you would like to help change, and why is addressing this issue important?
    • Education & Professional Development
      How do you plan to continue learning and growing throughout your career to better serve individuals and families seeking care?
    • Creating Lasting Impact
      If you could make one meaningful impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health or substance use disorders, what would it be and why?
