Jewish Heritage Scholarship
Who May Apply to Our Scholarship?
Students interested in applying to our Jewish Heritage Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- The student must be Jewish.
- The student must have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
- The student must be presently enrolled at a college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate.
- The student must be at least 17 years old.
- The student must be a citizen of the United States.
Application Requirements:
To be considered for our scholarship, viable candidates must provide the following:
- proof they are enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- proof of the required grade-point average
- requested contact information.
Students are also required to submit either a three-minute video or a 750-word written essay answering the following prompt:
Share something you have learned through Judaism that has helped you become a better leader.
How We Will Judge Applicants
Once the scholarship deadline has passed, our scholarship committee hopes to select a winner within four weeks after the deadline has passed. Here is what we will look for while judging applications:
- The student’s application demonstrates a robust dedication to being an active leader in their community.
- The student supplies all the necessary information required for our application.
- The student’s video or written essay includes high-quality content and is well-organized.
